Lee Soon-sin (Kim Suk-hoon), Ryu Seong-ryong (Kim Sang-joong) and Gwak Jae-woo (Im Hyuk) are the three heroes that saved the Joseon from the Japanese Invasion. They have something in common. They are strict about what they believe is right and move it to action.

On the episode of the KBS 1TV drama "Jing Bi-rok" on the 3rd, Lee Soon-jin dealt with those who smuggled military provisions by beheading them, Ryu Seong-ryong scolded those who surrendered to the enemy and Gwak Jae-woo caught the informant to the enemy and punished him.

Those who smuggled military provisions begged for their lives in front of Lee Soon-sin. His subordinates advised him to have mercy but he ordered them to be beheaded. Lee Soon-sin said, "There's no victory if balance breaks down. This is not just about victory but the lives of the people. How can I deal with this mercifully? Whoever disobeys the rule is an enemy".

Lee Cheon-ri (Jung Tae-woo) brought the betrayers in front of Ryu Seong-ryong. The reason why 5,000 of the Ming Dynasty reinforcements were wiped out by the enemy that were stationed at the Palace of Pyeongyang was because the betrayers had led them to it. The betrayers begged for mercy and made excuses. Ryu Seong-ryong said, "How could you? The Ming Dynasty reinforcements who came to help us have all died. Your life isn't even enough".

Gwak Jae-woo heard from his subordinate that a man named Gong Hwi-kyeom was spreading ridiculous rumors after siding with the enemy and called him 'worse than the enemy'. He claimed to put an end to this betrayal by having him dead and put his words into action. He attacked the hideout and sliced Gong Hwi-kyeom in one swing.
