Jang Tae-joo (Go Soo) was aiming for Choi Won-jae (Uhm Hyo-sup) and not Choi Min-jae (Son Hyun-joo).

On the twenty-first episode of the SBS drama "Empire of Gold", Jang Tae-joo earned the support of Han Jeong-hee (Kim Mi-sook) in return for releasing Choi Seong-jae on a special pardon.

Jang Tae-joo still thought of taking over Sungjin Group. Choi Min-jae thought Han Jeong-hee had sent her man Kang Ho-yeon (Park Ji-il) to hand over his corruption to the police. He said, "I will take 7,000 square feet with me to prison".

However, Jang Tae-joo brought out files related to Choi Won-jae's corruption and not Choi Min-jae. He said, "I have information collected over the last 10 years about your corruption under orders by Choi Min-jae".

He continued, "I think there's more than half that hasn't passed the statute of limitations yet. You might get the long sentence because the price is quite big". He had provoked Choi won-jae who was irresolute and a problem for everyone.
