[Spoiler] 'Marriage Contract' Lee Seo-jin makes teary plea to his mother, "I can't give up on her"

On the episode 15 of MBC's "Marriage Contract", Ji-hoon (Lee Seo-jin) in tears told his mother Mi-ran (Lee Hwi-hyang) that he could not give up on Hye-soo (UEE).

Mi-ran was shocked when she heard that Hye-soo was diagnosed with brain cancer. Ji-hoon told Mi-ran, "I'm sorry I make things difficult for you".
Mi-ran felt frustrated and asked him, "So, are you saying you still want to be with her?" Ji-hoon said, "Mom, I need your support. I feel like I'd accept any support, even from a cat. Please don't say those words like you're going to stop me". Ji-hoon showed tears.
Mi-ran asked him how long Hye-soo would be able to survive. Ji-hoon said, "Please mom, you almost died too, but you survived. She will live forever. She will live forever and I'm going to die one day ahead of her".
However, Mi-ran shed tears hugging Ji-hoon. Mi-ran, feeling sorry for the fate of his son and Hye-soo, asked him, "I'm sorry, Ji-hoon. Although I understand how you feel, but I can't let you do this. Have you ever imagined how terrible and difficult it will be?"
