Jae Hee was shocked on the sixteenth episode of the MBC weekend drama "May Queen" as he found out that his father Park Ki-chool (Kim Kyu-chul) killed the father of his woman Cheon Hae-joo (Han Ji-hye).

He tried so hard to deny the truth but it was a reality he had to accept. Park Chang-hee cried in grief as he told his father, "I can't trust you but whatever is true, the fact is that I lost my most beloved Cheon Hae-joo" as his father was full of excuses".

Cheon Hae-joo was also stepping closer to the truth. Cheon Hae-joo went to Jang In-hwa's (Son Eun-seo) office and met her mother Lee Geum-hee (Yang Mi-kyung). Her lost daughter was Cheon Hae-joo. Lee Geum-hee told her, "You have the same scar as my daughter so I thought it was you but your blood doesn't match". Feeling something pull towards her, Cheon Hae-joo asked her mother Jo Dal-soon (Geum Bo-ra) about her birth mother but couldn't get an answer.

Jang Do-hyeon's son Jang Il-joon (Yoon Jong-hwa) was the one holding the truth to Cheon Hae-joo. Jang Il-moon suspected their relationship and applied for DNA tests which resulted in a 99.87% match.

Kang San (Kim Jae-won) also found traces of his birth mother. As Lee Geum-hee gave him the hint, he found his grandfather Kang Dae-pyeong (Ko In-beom). At Kang San's insistent questions, Kang Dae-pyeong answered, "Yes, your mother was a welder. That's why I didn't allow them but they went and got married themselves".
