In the July 27th episode of MBC' Monday-Tuesday drama "Splendid Politics" (Directed by Kim Sang-ho, Choi Jeong-gyoo; Written by Kim I-yeong), Princess Jeongmyeong (Lee Yeon-hee) and Hong Joo-Won (Seo Kang-joon) were comforted by Kim Ja-Jum (Jo Min-ki). The princess met Hong Joo-Won while preparing a meal for the workers and she smiled at him. The two strolled together amongst their busy schedules which ended up being a nice date for them in a while. Hong Joo-Won asked the princess not to be out in about without anyone since her life could be at risk. He placed his hand around her but then noticed the assassins.

Joo-Won said that he is also on the surveillance list and the others are trying to frame him as a traitor. He grabbed the princess' hand and tried to flee but they were surrounded by the assassins. Then, Kim Ja-Jum showed up and said with a smile, "Oh, did I startle you?" The princess was surprised by his appearance but he wanted to have a talk with her. The princess didn't let her guard down. She asked if he is going to take her to the "previous king's" facilities. He replied, "You should use your terms correctly. What king? If you are talking about Gwanghae, the correct term is the dethroned ruler" and stared at the princess.

The princess said, "I do not want to call him that! Are you going to arrest me, too?" and laughed at him right up to his face. He then said to her, "You have to deal with unwanted people in order to be in politics".
