Gwanghae became aware that Heo Gyun (Ahn Nae-sang) tried to make him fall into a trap. Because Heo Gyun (Ahn Nae-sang) met Hwa-yi, it made Gwanghae believe Heo Gyun and Hwa-yi together was planning to commit the treason. As he also found out Hwa-yi was keeping Princess Jeongmyeiong's token, he started questioning about her identity.

At the order to capture Hwa-yi, troops charged into Kang In-woo (Han Joo-wan)'s house. However, Hwa-yi was not there because Hong Joo-won (Seo Kang-joon) could hide her at a safe place early enough.

Hwa-yi later could obtain women's clothes thanks to Joo-won. She told him, "My name is not Hwa-yi. I wanted to be Hwa-yi to you forever. But I can't do it any longer". And then she revealed her true identity to him.

She then went to Gwanghae and revealed everything related to her identity as Hwa-yi was all lie. She finally said, "I am Jeong Myeong-hee". Her dangerous choice to reveal her true identity raised the tension of the storyline.
