[Spoiler] "Take Care of Us, Captain" Ku Hye-sun faces her parents' death

2012/01/04 | 1122 views |  | Permalink | Source

Ku Hye-sun faced the sadness of losing her parents right from the first episode.

Han Da-jin (Ku Hye-sun) lost her legendary pilot father Han Gyoo-pil (Kim Chang-wan) and mother (Lee Hwi-yang) from the very first episode of SBS TV drama "Take Care of Us, Captain".

Due to the mistake of co-pilot Kim Yoon-seong (Ji Jin-hee) the plane started shaking and a pregnant woman on board, who was also the wife of the pilot, started internally bleeding out of shock. Kim Yoon-seong suggested an emergency landing because of this, but the pilot kept going due to bad weather conditions.

In the end the pregnant woman died and Da-jin blamed her father for her mother's death. She couldn't understand how he could have chosen the safety of the passengers over his family.

Han Gyoo-pil found his wife's grave and confessed his deep love for her, "You are my number 1, 2 and 3". On the way back from her grave, Da-jin sent him a message saying sorry. However, at that moment, he was sturck by a car and died.

Da-jin had now lost both her mother and father. Seven years later, she joined Captain Kim Yoon-seong as his co-pilot. Not knowing it was his mistake that led to the death of her mom, and him not knowing that she was Gyoo-pil's daughter.
