[Spoiler] 'The Merchant: Gaekju 2015' Han Chae-ah refuses Lee Deok-hwa on the first night

The 12th episode of KBS 2TV's Wednesday & Thursday drama, "The Merchant: Gaekju 2015" showed a scene where Jo So-sa (Han Chae-ah) was refusing Sin Seok-joo (Lee Deok-hwa) in a bed.

Jo So-sa left her maiden home and arrived at Sin Seok-joo's house. On their first night together, Sin Seok-joo opened up to Jo So-sa, "Do you know what I want from you?" Jo So-sa answered, "I understand you're talking about food, playing lute and kaya harp, dancing, singing, painting Four Gracious Plants. I'll try to be worth as much as you paid for me".
However, Sin Seok-joo said, "Give a birth to my son". Jo So-sa responded, "If god helps, you might be able to have your son from me". Sin Seok-joo blew candle, and let Jo So-sa lie down. As Sin Seok-joo came closer, Jo So-sa turned her head away from him in spite of herself.
As this happened, Sin Seok-joo said "I suppose it's something you should help with not god" and then he stood up. Sin Seok-joo revealed his affection towards her by telling her the truth from his heart, "When I saw your picture book, my heart was moved" Jo So-sa became teary when she heard this.
