On this day, King Geyongjong (Hyun Woo) died and Prince Yeongying (Yeo Jin-goo) was suspected for poisoning him as he had served dried persimmon on the King's dinner table. Baek Dae-gil asked the prince, "Please tell me you are innocent" and the prince reacted angrily saying, "If I'd say so, would you believe me?".

Baek Dae-gil said, "As I regarded you as my friend, my younger brother once, I trust you, your highness". Prince Yeongying said, "However, as soon as you had the doubtful mind, you already turned your back on me. And it's not Your Highness, but Your Majesty. I'll not forgive anyone who rejects king any longer, including my parents and my brother".

Prince Yeongying was enthroned after all. When he realized Baek Dae-gil left the palace, he had hard time coping with the loneliness.

After a long time had passed, Prince Yeongying and Baek Dae-gil met again to stop the rebellion of Lee In-jwa.
