On the 51st episode of KBS 2TV drama, "This Is Family", Cha Soon-geum (Yang Hee-kyung) became aware of Cha Soon-bong (Yoo Dong-geun)'s illness when Heo Yang-geum (Kyun Mi-ri) obliviously told her about it.

Cha Kang-sim (Kim Hyun-joo) and No Yeong-seol (Kim Jung-nan) were discussing when they were going to disclose to Cha Soon-geum about Cha Soon-bong's illness and came to a conclusion, "We still have one month to get the result of the cancer treatment. So let's tell her after the wedding so she can enjoy the wedding happily".

Finally, the wedding day of Moon Tae-joo (Kim Sang-kyung) and Cha Kang-sim arrived. On this day, Cha Soon-geum encountered Kwon Hyo-jin (Son Dam-bi)'s mother Heo Yang-geum in a restroom .

Heo Yang-geum said, "It must have been really hard to prepare the wedding. Under the difficult situation with your brother, he still made the wedding happen. He is quite a respectable man".

Although Cha Soon-geum asked back, "What do you mean by difficult situation", Heo Yang-geum continues, "I heard it from my husband. Didn't he come to our hospital and have the treatment?"

Cha Soon-geum did not come back to the wedding hall after she found out about her brother's illness in the last stage of stomach cancer.

The wedding ceremony ceased as the bride's aunt, who was supposed to sit in bride's mother's seat, disappeared. While everybody went out to find Cha Soon-geum, she was crying in the restroom crying hard.
