In the following interview, he mentioned his role of Cha Yeong-jin, the Senior Administrator of the President's Secretariat in "Designated Survivor: 60 Days". He said, "The drama begins with the National Assembly being bombed by terrorists. One day, the people he believed in and supported disappear, and the burden on him increases. Cha Yeong-jin is a character who doesn't want to complain or show that he's having a hard time, even under such dire circumstances".
"I want to break away from the stereotypical image of an actor that people often have and show an unorthodox image. I want people to say Sukku Son is different from other actors".
