Super Junior & 2NE1 Land On Billboard World Album Chart

The entire world is taking notice of the explosive comebacks of Super Junior and 2NE1. Both groups made it onto the top 10 of the prestigious US Billboard charts.

The popular idol group Super Junior placed 3rd with their fifth album, "Mr. Simple", on the US Billboard World Album Chart as of August 12th. This is their first time entering the chart. Their international popularity is only re-affirmed via YouTube. Their music video for their title track "Mr. Simple" has attracted 5 million hits in just seven days.

The girls of 2NE1 can also afford to be pretty smug. They ranked in at number seven on the same chart, making it the second week they've been in the top ten. They had placed fourth on last week's charts. Though quite notable, the Billboards aren't new for the group. 2NE1 had placed 7 on the German charts last year with their first full-length album, "To Anyone".
