Survey Reveals Most Seniors to Come out of Retirement

Seniors are looking to expand their horizons after retirement with hobbies like cooking or studying foreign languages, according to a recent survey of people aged 50 to 65.

Studying cooking was the most popular choice in the survey by Seoul National University, comprising 34.9 percent of respondents.

Next was studying a foreign language at 34.1 percent followed by becoming a real estate agent at 30.2 percent.

There were also coffee fans as 29.7 percent said they would like to become baristas. Drone piloting was a more adventurous hobby cited by 26.4 percent.

Roughly three out of 10 people, or 30.5 percent, said they are still active enough to seek a new job.
