Bae Suzy of girl band miss A threw the ceremonial first pitch in a game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Dodgers' pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin caught the ball before it bounced, prompting Bae Suzy to raise her arms with joy.

The billboard at the stadium showed her cheering for the Dodgers.

Bae Suzy and Ryu first met on a TV show last November. In an interview, Ryu said he hoped she would come to one of his games to throw the first ball.

Ryu gave Bae Suzy a bubblehead doll made by the club as a gift before she stepped on the mound.

Other Dodgers players also showed much interest in her. Bae Suzy took pictures with Andre Ethier, Juan Uribe and Yasiel Puig.
