OCN Dramatic Cinema project "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation"'s Jung Sang-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho and Ji Seung-hyun have transformed into unique characters that cannot be seen in existing genres, giving joy and sorrow to viewers for the past six weeks, becoming favorite characters.
In OCN Dramatic Cinema piece "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation", Jung Sang-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho and Ji Seung-hyun play Lee Ban-seok, a funeral instructor from the National Forensic Service, Teddy Jeong, the owner of a cocktail bar who was a legend during the darker days of the past, and a former greatest profiler Tak-won. These three captivated the weekends with their interesting and fresh characters.
First of all, Jung Sang-hoon plays Lee Ban-seok, who was once the best autopsy doctor in the National Forensic Service, but now serves as a funeral director to see the last of the deceased off. Some people doubt his former profession, as he's very witty and demonstrates the cosmetics techniques on his face before applying them on the deceased's face, acting perfectly as if he was his own character. In addition, in a particular episode which depicts the bitter side of our society in a close narrative, his emotional performance towards his daughter Ga-eun (Jung Chan-bi) stimulated viewers' tear glands. The dense acting that makes viewers laugh and cry increases the immersion level of the story.
Yoon Kyung-ho plays Teddy Jeong, the owner of a cocktail bar who used to be known as 'the legendary fist' and has been standing out even before the formation of "Team Bulldog" as a strong ally of detective Jin Kang-ho (Cha Tae-hyun). Whenever bad guys need a powerful hit, he appears like the wind with his action moves. In particular, Yoon Kyung-ho highlights the character by 200%, as Teddy Jeong's character is unique in the way that he suffers from asthma and is far from being fit. From his dark days to the present, his unchanging aspect of being loyal captivated viewers with friendly and warm unconventional charm that could not be imagined in his scary appearance, and imprinted a new aspect of actor Yoon Kyung-ho.
Ji Seung-hyun's unconventional transformation of comic acting through "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation" shone from the first episode. This is because he perfectly analyzed the character of a 'salesman profiler' who does pyramid scheme selling to make money. Viewers say, "Ji Seung-hyun is so funny!", "He's the highlight of "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation"" and more. On the other hand, when "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation" meets a dead end, he shows off his genius reasoning skills and comes up with clues to the investigation. Ji Seung-hyun's depiction of Tak-won has made him one of the viewers' favorite characters.
"Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation" is directed by Kang Hyo-jin, written by Jung Yoon-sun-I, Lee Yu-jin, and features Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Sun-bin, Jung Sang-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho, Ji Seung-hyun, Park Jung-woo-V. Broadcasting information in Korea: 2020/05/23~Now airing, Sat, Sun 22:50 on OCN.
