The 52nd Daejong Awards Best Actor: Hwang Jung-min or Yoo Ah-in?

2015/11/16 | Permalink | Source

Veteran actor Hwang Jung-min and youngster Yoo Ah-in are in it for the 52nd Daejong Best Actor Award.

The 52nd Daejong Awards is being held on the 20th in Seoul.

The nominees for Best Actor are Son Hyun-joo, Yoo Ah-in, Ha Jung-woo and Hwang Jung-min.

The four actors deserve to be on the list of candidates, but it seems that Yoo Ah-in and Hwang Jung-min will be competing against each other. Hwang Jung-min has confirmed to be attending the event, as the Daejong Awards announced that an award will not be given to those who aren't present on that day. In the meanwhile, Yoo Ah-in is getting tremendous support for his performance in the movie "The Throne".

The two of them did well and Hwang Jung-min played a big role in bringing in 1.4 million people with "Ode to My Father". Yoo Ah-in did his part in "Veteran" and "The Throne".

Meanwhile, the 52nd Daejong Awards will be broadcast live on the 20th. "The Throne" has 16 candidates in 15 categories, "The Assassination" in 14 and "Veteran" in 10.
