"The Charming Girl" Wins Jurors' Award at Deauville Film Festival

"The Charming Girl", produced by director Lee Yoon-ki, won the Jurors' Award, the second highest prize at the Festival du Film Asiatique de Deauville in France. The Festival came to a close on Mar. 13.

"The Charming Girl" was released on Mar. 10. The movie portrays how the lovelorn lead character Jeong-hye (played by Kim Ji-soo) once again opens her mind to new love. It is director Lee Yun-ki's first feature-length work and Kim Ji-soo's debut as a movie actress.

This movie won the New Currents Award at the Pusan International Film Festival last year, and won the NETPAC Award at the Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin last month.
