According to Screen Daily on the 17th, "ARIRANG - Movie" by Kim Ki-duk which was invited to the "Certain Regard" selection at the 64th Cannes Film Festival and viewed for the first time, was sold to Taiwan Catch Play.

"ARIRANG - Movie" was revealed for the first time on the 13th at Cannes Film Festival and rated highly locally and was the center of attention for those foreign buyers who were interested in auteurism. The fact that it was the return project of worldwide famous director Kim Ki-duk also played a good role.

Hawin Cut, which controls the foreign sales of movies, said, "There have been many inquiries about the purchasing of the movie. A good distributor is more important than selling it at a high price".

The francophone publication rights to movie "Poongsan" which is produced by Kim Ki-duk and directed by director Juhn Jai-hong who was previously assistant director to Kim, was sold early to Pretty Pictures, emphasizing the wave of producer Kim.

Meanwhile, director Hong Sang-soo's "The Day He Arrives" and the movie version of "ATHENA" was sold to Taiwan Catch Play as well and animation, "Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild", "Midnight FM" and "71-Into the Fire" was sold to Turkey Horizon International. Due to be released movie "The Cat" was sold to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei's Scorpio East.
