The late novelist Park Wan-suh was one of Korea's most beloved writers, weaving enticing stories out of seemingly ordinary characters and events.

In particular, Park Wan-suh is respected in feminist literary circles for her work in bringing forth the story of women in a patriarchical society and literary world.

[Interview : Park Wan-suh, Novelist] "I believe that women played an integral part of modern history, and I wanted to show that. There's no rule that women must stay in the shadows".

The performance is a reading of Park Wan-suh's 2001 novel "Tribute to Longing". The audience is enraptured by the emotional voice of the actor, reading aloud the powerful words of Park Wan-suh, a novelist who moved the hearts of all Koreans.

[Interview : Kim Yeon-jin-I, Actress] "Park Wan-suh was my favorite writer. Her works always showed us the value of the everyday things that we saw around us, the things that we may have passed unnoticed".

[Interview : ] "Now, I'm at the age my mother suffered the incident. I know what it's like to lose the freedom to walk in old age, so I've decided to lock myself in the house whenever it snows".

Marilyn Monroe was the darling of the entire world, but her personal love life was always shrouded in mystery.

[Interview : Michelle Williams, Actress] "I grew up with a picture of her in my bedroom. And it was this picture of her, and this scriptI had a pace, and a flow, and a heart, andher. I just responded to her".
