"Three Brothers" seizes seventh TV chart win

KBS2 TV drama "Three Brothers" was the most-watched television show in the country last week, dominating ratings charts for the seventh consecutive week, statistics indicated on Monday.

Figures by TNS Korea and AGB Nielsen Media Research revealed that the family series brought in viewership ratings of 35.3 percent and 34.8 percent, respectively, during the week of March 29 to April 4.

The weekend drama based on the lives of three brothers played by Korean actors Ahn Nae-sang, Oh Dae-gyu and Lee Joon-hyuk, continues to bring in high ratings since it first aired in October 2009.

Meanwhile, the KBS News at 9 came in second place with ratings of 19.4 percent and 20 percent on each of the charts.

Rounding off the top three programs was KBS1 daily drama "Good Days when the Wind Blows" with viewership ratings of 19.2 percent on TNS polls and slightly higher on AGB charts with 20.4 percent, respectively.
