2005/08/30 Source

A ticket to the Japanese premiere of the Korean film "April Snow" has sold for 32 million won on Yahoo! Auction.

A Japanese sports daily on Tuesday said bids for the ticket rose 375-fold in four days amid a flood of other items related to lead actor Bae Yong-joon that were put on auction on the website.

Bae helped fuel Japan's craze for Korean pop culture after starring in the megahit KBS drama, "Winter Sonata".

Bae, the film's female lead Son Ye-jin and director Heo Jin-ho will attend the movie's premiere in Japan at the Saitama Super Arena Wednesday afternoon.

The movie will open next month in ten Asian countries.
