Uhm Hyun-kyung to star in SBS "Defendant"

Actress Uhm Hyun-kyung is starring in the new SBS drama "Defendant".

She plays the part of a plutocrat's daughter who meets Seon-ho when everything is gone and re-lives her life as a Chaebol but hides her heated passion.

Uhm Hyun-kyung plays Na Yeon-hee, a character who struggles to keep the comforts of her life.

She has been featured in the KBS 2TV show "Happy Together" and SKY TV "Beauty Sky", and starred the recent drama "Everything Will Be Alright".

"Defendants" is the story of a prosecutor who struggles to clear his name. A prosecutor who has never failed to prove the innocence of a defendant finds himself in a lock-up one day and loses all memory of what happened.

Meanwhile, the drama is directed by Jo Yeong-gwang and written by Choi Soo-jin and Choi Chang-hwan.
