Veteran Journalist to Teach at Ewha Womans University

Former Arirang TV CEO Sohn Jie-ae has been appointed visiting professor at the Graduate School of International Studies of Ewha Womans University.

Sohn was a Seoul correspondent for the New York Times and CNN and later served as CNN's Seoul bureau chief. She was president of the Seoul Foreign Correspondents' Club and joined the government briefly as spokesperson for the G20 summit in 2010.

After leaving Arirang TV, she was a visiting scholar at the University of Southern California School of Social Work in Los Angeles.
