Dinosaur reboot "Jurassic World" was the bestselling movie on demand this year in Korea, and women, not men, were the main customers for R-rated movies.

Olleh TV said the next top movies from January to November this year were "Veteran", "The Assassination", "Kingsman: The Secret Service", and "Northern Limit Line".

In the theaters, "Jurassic World" was ninth biggest box office hit in Korea, attracting 5.54 million viewers, but home viewers seem to have different tastes.

Olleh TV attributed the popularity to the film's appeal to children, who watch at home.

As for adult movies, Olleh said men seem to have less appetite for them on the move than women, who prefer sexy films with well written scripts and famous actors.

In the IPTV market, Hollywood blockbusters "Interstellar" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and animations like "Minions" were popular.

In the mobile movie market for smartphones and tablets, "The Treacherous", which only attracted 1.11 million viewers in cinema, came top ahead of box office hits "Veteran" and "The Assassination", which came third and fourth.

Olleh TV's mobile sales put "Kingsman: The Secret Service" in second place, and "Fifty Shades of Grey" in fifth.

Because of the smaller screen, Korean films tended to be more popular than foreign spectaculars that require subtitles.
