Womenlink distributes free animation on gender equality

Korean Womenlink announced on Nov. 27 that it would produce and distribute an education animation on gender equality.

With its "Equal Work, Child Birth, and Raising Project" this year, Korean Womenlink will produce an educational animation and posters based on men's participation in raising children and improving social recognition, which will all be distributed in schools, public institutions, businesses, and labor unions to be used in gender equality education.

The animation, Men who Participate are Beautiful, consists of two segments in DVD ("A Day of A Bad Father" and "No Problem?") and each segment is nine minutes long.

The animation deals with issues and problems in real life encountered by those who practice gender equality and raises issues regarding the common perception that childrearing is only a work for women.
