Despite his not so big role in the film "Master", Woo Do-hwan made a good impression of himself and became a rising star with further appearances in dramas "Save Me" and "Mad Dog". He even earned the nickname 'sexy villain' for his role in the movie "The Divine Fury". Herald POP interviewed Woo Do-hwan in a café in Seoul.

Woo Do-hwan said, "I know I can't make everyone like me. It's not easy to realize that".

"Following trial and error after my debut, there are people who like me and those who don't. It's only natural".

Woo Do-hwan added, "I'm embarrassed by the term 'leading rookie'. I guess fans are cheering for me and that makes me want to work harder".

"I'm only just beginning, so it seems a bit much to say I want to be a creditable actor, but I do want to become an actor who has good influence on people".

Meanwhile, "The Divine Fury" is about a martial arts champion named Yong-hoo (Park Seo-joon) fighting strong evil that has put the world into chaos with Father Ahn (Ahn Sung-ki). It is currently in theaters.
