According to jTBC on the 28th, the police are looking into the report made by MBC regarding speculations of sex favors made on Yang. They will collect statements to verify if there really were provisions of sex services.

The point the police are focusing on the most is if there were sexual favors made for the wealthy men from South East Asia and if Yang was really involved in this.

Another key point is if the statute of limitations is still realistically valid.

JTBC announced that there was a month left on the case. According to the act on the Punishment of Prostitution and Other Activities, the statute of limitations for finding prostitution in general is five years. However, the statute of limitations will be increased to seven years if assault and violence are involved, or if the sex worker is recruited for business and paid for it.

Previously on the 27th, MBC reported that two wealthy men from Thailand and Malaysia visited Korea in July of 2014 and had dinner with Yang including 25 other women from bars and clubs. There was also a saying that Hwang Ha-na, the only granddaughter of the president of Namyang Dairy Products Co., Ltd who was arrested for drug use and put on trial, was there too. Apparently dinner led to a club in Gangnam, and that's where the sexual favors occurred.

YG said, "Mr. Yang was there, but he wasn't involved with any sex favors".
