"Yawang" is the same as "Nice Guy"?

2013/01/14 | Permalink | Source

"Yawang" seems to be going through the same ordeal as "Nice Guy".

On the first episode of the SBS drama "Yawang", Joo Da-hae (Soo Ae) stabbed her abusive foster father and Ha-ryu (kwon Sang-woo) saw this happen.

It seems like Ha-ryu is going to take the blame for what happened as he purely loves her so much.

This scene is very familiar. It's from the KBS 2TV drama "Nice Guy" which ended last year starring Song Joong-ki and Park Si-yeon.

On the first episode of "Nice Guy", medical student Kang Maru (Song Joong-ki) found out that his lover Han Jae-hee (Park Si-yeon) killed someone and took the blame for her instead. Then he took revenge on her for betraying him.

"Yawang" seems to be the same. "Yawang" also shows Ha-ryu taking revenge on Da-hae because she abandoned him to become the First Lady. The two dramas are going to compared like this if this story continues.

Producer Jo Yeong-gwang said, "I was shocked when I saw "Nice Guy" while making "Yawang" because there were so many similarities and I had to edit much of it. However, Song Joong-ki has different revenge and mellow targets while kwon Sang-woo's are the same".
