Actor Yoon Jong-hwa is quitting the MBC morning drama "Eve's Love" because he has been diagnosed with spinal cancer.

He went to the hospital last month and was told he had spinal cancer. He's received surgery once on the 29th of May and is currently still in treatment. He claimed pain in his lower back and legs before he went to the hospital.

HB Entertainment claims, "Yoon Jong-hwa returned to work 4 days after surgery and came to a mutual end with the drama this week".

"The surgery was successful and he's undergoing radiation treatment. Please support him so he can get better soon. Thank you, the staff and cast who have been so considerate".

Meanwhile, Yoon Jong-hwa is SBS announcer Yoon Hyeon-jin's brother and he played the role of Cha Geon-woo in "Eve's Love".
