Shinhwa's Jun Jin Makes Summer Memories at Okinawa

Shinhwa member Jun Jin has greeted fans in Okinawa for summer fun.

Jun Jin is currently in the middle of promotions for "Wa", the title track to his first solo album. From July 4th to the 6th, he will be traveling through the tourist spots of Okinawa with 150 of his Japanese fans. At night, he will be eating dinner with them and hold hand-shaking events.

Jun Jin recently signed a 3-year contract worth 500 billion won with Open World Entertainment stating his commitment to work in Korea, as well as Southeast Asia.

Jun Jin Prepares to Take Japan by Storm

Shinhwa member Jun Jin will hold his first solo concert in Japan, the same year Shinhwa reaches the 10-year anniversary of their debut.

Jun Jin has planned two performances on the 26th (2pm, 7pm) at the C.C. Lemon Hall in Tokyo for 5000 fans. There was only one show originally scheduled but when the 2500 tickets sold out in five minutes, they decided to add another performance.

Since this is Jun Jin's first solo concert in Japan, he sought out director Kim Seo-ryong, one of the best in the field at stage productions for concerts. They are also planning a pan-Asian tour during which the singer's first solo album will be released to coincide with his concert in Korea.

Prior to his Tokyo concert, Jun Jin is scheduled to meet fans for a two-day trip through Fukushima, Japan. They will dine together, play group games, take commemorative photos, and the singer will sign personal autographs.

Shinhwa Members Celebrate 10th Anniversary of their Debut

The group Shinhwa recently filmed a music video for their 9th studio album. The music video was filmed in a field of reeds near a dinosaur fossil site in Songsan-myeon in Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province.

The scene involved five members rescuing Eric Moon, who is held as a hostage by enemy gangsters.

March 24 marks the 10th anniversary of Shinhwa's debut. The music video shoot was a special event as members Eric Moon and Kim Dong-wan are preparing to begin their military services.

The members said the past decade felt more like a brief thunderstorm and thanked each other for staying the same over 10 years.

Jun Jin said he feels sad to watch his "brothers" go off to the miliary before him while Andy remarked that when he is hanging out with the group members, it feels as same as it did ten years ago.

After the release of their album, Shinhwa will hold a 10th anniversary concert after which the members will go their separate ways.

Celebrities to Participate in Hallyu Festival in Jeju-do

Park Yong-ha along with members of Shinhwa and SG Wannabe are participating in a Hallyu event in Jeju-do (island).

The '2008 Hallyu Again in Jeju' is sponsored by BNV and Jeju Peace Tours, and supported by the Jeju Self-Governing Province. It will open on March 13th at the Jeju Halla Art Hall.

Park Yong-ha is scheduled in the first part of the festivities for a charity round of golf, hand-printing, and commemorative photos. For his fans on Jeju-do, he will also participate in a gift-giving event on 'White Day' (March 14th).

Performances by Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, and Jun Jin from Shinhwa, as well as SG Wannabe, will take place during the second half of the event.

Shinwa to Reunite Next Month

K-pop's longest running male group Shinhwa will reunite in December, with a new single and concerts in Japan and China. Fans are eagerly awaiting the group's comeback, especially since it will celebrate its 10th anniversary in March.

According to their management agency, Shinhwa's new single "Winter Story 2007" will be released on Dec. 6. This is their first single since they released "Winter Story 2006-2007" last January.

The six-member group will hold a concert in Nagoya, Japan also on Dec. 6, to be followed by two concerts on Dec.8 and 9 at Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo. Shinhwa will travel to Shanghai, China for another concert on Dec. 15. .

Shinhwa will resume their group activities starting December, and prepare for their upcoming ninth album.
