On December 22nd episode of MBC drama, "Pride and Prejudice", Goo Dong-chi (Choi Jin-hyuk) figured it out the kidnapper Baekgom was not the one who he witnessed 15 years ago.

The kidnapper, Baekgom confessed that he had kidnapped Kang Soo (Lee Tae-hwan) and Han Byeol 15 years ago and Moon Hee-man (Choi Min-soo) instigated him to commit the crime. As a result, Moon Hee-man became a suspect and his team was put at risk to be dissolved.

Under the circumstances, Goo Dong-chi discovered Lee Jong-gon (No Joo-hyun) had been involved in the kidnapping case and then he expedited the investigation to find the true criminal.

At the end of this episode, Goo Dong-chi cross-examined the kidnapper, Baekgom. When Goo Dong-chi asked him how he had killed Han Byeol, the kidnapper replied, "I strangled him to death". And then Goo Dong-chi asked, "How about the other child?" And again the kidnapper said, "Same thing. I strangled him".

Goo Dong-chi asked back, "How come you couldn't kill the child then?". Baekgom answered, "The kid ran away". But, when Goo Dong-chi continued asking, "Why didn't you kill me?", he could not say a word to answer the question. It proved Baekgom could not recognize Goo Dong-chi.

Goo Dong-chi finally yelled, "How can you not remember me? Who are you?" While the cross-examination was going on, a skeletal corpse was found from the construction spot where the kidnapping had occurred. As the person who claimed himself as the kidnapper could not remember Goo Dong-chi, it heightened curiosity about the true identity of the kidnapper.
