On December 22nd, Cinephobia Releasing confirmed that they had secured the American distribution rights to "A Trap" (also known as "The Human Trap") and that the dramatic horror film would be available on Amazon Prime and other VOD platforms this coming January 12th. The film stars Kang Byul, Park Yeon-woo, Kim Dong-ho-II in others in a story about a cheerful camping trip that takes a turn for the macabre with the arrival of a knife-wielding madman.

"A Trap" comes from director Lee Moon-young, whose previous work include the melodrama film "Our Ex-Girlfriends" in 2013 and the rural visitor romance "Rainbow Goddess" back in 2020. "A Trap" had actually been released in South Korean theaters back in 2021, and became available on VOD platforms in that country that same year. This English subtitled version, however, is new international exposure for the scary movie.
