Synopsis
The beginning of the 20th century, and the world powers are fighting over control of Korea. Ho-chang's single interest is sports. When one day he sees Jung-lim playing baseball with the missionaries at the Y.M.C.A., he discovers his true love. And though his father is against all Western influences, Hochang begins to pursue baseball with a passion. In 1905, the Korean Y.M.C.A. Team becomes the first organized baseball team in Korea. Led by Ho-chang, Jung-lim, and Dae-hyun, a pitcher, the team gains popularity and fame as they record victory after victory. But at this time Korea is forced to sign away its sovereignty to Japan, and Jung-lim's father, unable to accept this, resorts to desperate measures...
