[Aisha's Take] Be My Han Tae-yeong to Cha Jeong-woo From "Happy Ending Romance "

"Happy Ending Romance " is the latest 2022 BL K-Drama here to make you experience butterflies!The web-drama shares the story of Cha Jeong-woo (Karam), a talented young writer who gets involved in a scandal that ruined his career. After being hidden for so long, the CEO of a small publishing company, Han Tae-yeong (Ha Jong-woo), provokes his dream to publish under his name again.

The drama begins with Jeong-woo sobbing. His image was ruined after he spoke against the curruption he witnessed among his seniors. He rushed to his hyung, Kim Jeong-hyeon (LEO), and he took the young boy in. The two lived together and JeongWoo began to write under Jeong-hyeon's name. Cha Jeong-woo, who became the victim of ruthless criticism ran away from his dreams.

Tae-yeong, on the other hand, worked as an editor at one of the best publishing companies. He was fascinated by Jeong-woo's writing to the extend that it kept him up all night. When his leader tells him that they will not be publishing his work, Tae-yeong acknowledges the unfairness of the situation and quits his job.

He soon emerges as the CEO of a small publishing company along with his friend with a dream to publish Jeong-eoo's work one day. Whilst his friend wishes to get Jeong-hyeon's work, he goes out on a mission to find Jeong-woo. Jeong-woo himself wished to come out of the shell but was too afraid to. That is till TaeYoung made an appearance in his life and gave him the strength he always needed. Han TaeYoung became the knight in shining armor and a lover who loved unconditionally. The drama defined love for us and, perhaps, we all wish to have our own soulmate to be like  Han Tae-yeong is to Cha Jeong-woo.

Tae-yeong followed him constantly and approached him at every given oppurtunity. He wouldn't hesitate to tell Jeong-woo that he was a talented man and the power his words held. He knew that publishing his work could return in criticism and it was a huge risk for a small company like his. Yet, he still wanted to give it a go because that was how much he liked Jeong-woo. He fell in love with him with just words, even before the two even met. And the feelings  only grew when they met.

The drama shows two types love. Initially there is Jeong-hyeon who gives his name to Jeong-woo. He is troubled by the situation himself, of taking ownership of work that was not his to begin with. Jeong-hyeon suffered too but he didn't wish to let Jeong-woo go into the outside world. He was afraid that Jeong-woo would get hurt again. For him, he was a fragile flower who could wither when the weather gets bad. Through the drama, he tried to stop him from publishing under his own name and it's not for himself, but his intentions were pure.

On the other hand, we have Han Tae-yeong, a brave fighter in the name of love. He wanted to make Jeong-woo stronger. Whilst he pushed him to stand before the cruel world, he also made sure to have his back. Even if it could destroy him. He even offered Jeong-woo to use his apartment as his studio, even when there was no guarantee that Jeong-woo would let his work be published by his company. He never complained, though at times he was afraid that Jeong-woo could have left him whenever he woke up alone. Yet, he would wait for him, in hopes that he would return.

Han Tae-yeong's constant smile would delight anyone's hearts. He is optimistic and pure and so was his love. We all have our own struggles and hurdles along our way. These hardships might often make us quiver and leave our dreams but if one has a lover like Han Tae-yeon, they will never be afraid. Hence, we can only ask for one thing...
