Daily Visitors to Yeosu Expo Surpassed 100,000 Mark on Sunday

The Yeosu Expo attracted more than 100-thousand people on Sunday, for the first time since the international event opened two weeks ago.
It is believed that the surge of visitors to the Expo was because of the long weekend holiday, since Buddha's birthday, a national holiday of Korea, falls on Monday.
The expo's organizing committee also announced that the total number of visitors had reached more than 700-thousand, since it opened in mid-May.
The 93-day event held under the theme of "Living Ocean and Coast", will run until mid-August in the southern port city of Yeosu.
