Actors Jang Dong-yoon and Lee Joo-myung draw romance in wrestling.

"Like Flowers in Sand" is a story that takes place when the old ssireum prodigy Kim Baek-doo (Jang Dong-yoon) and the once alley leader Oh Yoo-kyeong (Lee Joo-myung) reunite. The sight of young people blooming flowers on the sand against the backdrop of ssireum city of Geosan is expected to bring excitement.

Baek-doo is a Taebaek-class player from the wrestling team of the Geosan-gun Office, which is on the verge of disbanding. He was born as the youngest son of a prestigious ssireum player and was called a prodigy because of his outstanding skills, but now he is a player who has nothing to see. Reunited with Yoo-kyeong in the midst of retirement, he will mark a turning point in his wrestling life. Yoo-kyeong makes coaches' hearts flutter with her natural athletic ability and fierce competitive spirit. She comes down to Geosan as the head of the management team of the Korean wrestling team at Geosan-gun Office, which is about to be disbanded.

Yoon Jong-seok plays Min Hyeon-wook. He's lived his whole life with plenty of everything. He comes down to Geosan around the same time as Yoo-kyeong, and adapts faster than anyone else. Kim Bo-ra is the cafe owner Joo Mi-ran. She is an honest speaker and looks through people clearly. Lee Jae-joon plays Baek-doo's rival and former ssireum player Kwak Jin-soo. Although he was hidden in the shadow of Baek-doo as a child, he becomes an ace who won a total of four Halla Jangsa titles. He refuses to be a coach for the No. 1 team in the ssireum team and returns to Geosan-gun Office, where Baek-doo is located. Lee Joo-seung is a Baek-doo's best friend and Geosan District Police Officer Jo Seok-hee. He is in charge of the odd jobs of Geosan.

Aesto who made "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" is in charge. Director Kim Jin-woo-II of " A Model Family" (2022) and writer Won Yoo-jung of "The Lies Within" (2019) will work together. The release date will be in the second half of the year.
