This horror film is full of psychological twists and turns. The movie begins when Kang-min (Gam Woo-sung) wakes up in the middle of a dark forest without knowing what happened and makes his way to a lighted cabin only to find the aftermath of a gruesome murder. As he later struggles to figure out how he became involved, the film takes the viewer through a confusing and mesmerizing sequence of events that ends with Kang-min getting hit by a car. First-time director Song Il-gon does a successful job maintaining the suspense as our dazed protagonist frantically tries but fails to make sense of his surroundings. Tickets: 3,000 won. ■ Piano Chinun Taetongryong (The Piano Playing President) (2002)

"The Piano Playing President", a love story between a romantic president of South Korea and his daughter's teacher, will be shown along with "Tonggapnaegi Kwawehagi (An Extra Class)", a romance between a slacker and his private teacher who are the same age, and "JSA - Joint Security Area", the story of a friendship among South and North Korean soldiers serving along the DMZ.
