[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Jo Wan-gi Joins "Possessed" as Playboy Fortune Teller

2018/12/28 | 291 views | Permalink

We know that Go Joon-hee's Hong Seo-jeong is the real psychic deal in OCN's upcoming exorcism-themed drama "Possessed", but actor Jo Wan-gi is here to cover the other side of this superpowered coin, meaning the side that just doesn't have them.

Jo Wan-gi's character, Bae Do-ryeong, is a fraud fortune teller whose appealing appearance makes him popular with women customers. He takes full advantage of that, as he is a playboy who likes dating the pretty ladies who visit him looking for a reading.

This sounds like the kind of character whose face you want to see when the realization hits them that real supernatural stuff is starting to go down. The actor has most recently been seen in "Fates and Furies", "Mr. Sunshine" and "Live", so this sounds like a solid next step.

"Possessed" follows a detective with extraordinary intuition and a psychic who wants to lead a normal life chasing an evil spirit committing crimes while possessing humans. It will premiere in February.
