Webtoon "Weak Hero Class 1" to Be Made into a Drama

Naver webtoon "Weak Hero Class 1" will be produced as a drama.

"We have recently signed a joint production contract with the drama production company Playlist", Jaedam Media said on the 31st.

"Weak Hero Class 1" is academy action that shows Yeon Si-eun, an ordinary-looking main character, becoming the best fighter in a high school full of troublemakers. Since its release in May 2018, it has been continuing season 3 since February this year, and it has been creating more colorful stories with the emergence of new characters and the stories related to them, with more than 140 episodes accumulated for three years.

"The webtoon itself is very complete", a Playlist official said. "If it is transferred to a drama, it will have a synergy effect with the original".

The drama "Weak Hero Class 1" will be scheduled in the first half of 2022.
