Synopsis
Seo Mi-jin is a 42-year-old single woman who has experienced extraordinary pain. When she was in high school, she got married, but due to her illness, which prevented her from having a baby, her husband left her. Mi-jin adopted her daughter Ji-soo when she was 7 years old. She worked alone in the world of the night, raising her daughter diligently and even sending her to study abroad. A ray of light came to Mi-jin after meeting Oh Sang-hoon as her customer in a bar she is working at, and a ray of love began to sprout in her heart. However, she cannot control her confusion when she finds out that Sang-hoon is the boyfriend her daughter Ji-soo brought back from studying abroad. After encountering the couple having sex, Mi-jin cannot control her excited emotions any more. Later, while her daughter is sleeping, Mi-jin wakes up Sang-hoon and hopes that he will accept her, as he has become a lump of desire. However, Ji-soo overhears all of their conversations.

"Mom, are you crazy?! Why on earth? Are you really crazy? Are you saying I'm just your adopted daughter?! I... I thought I'd just die."

Jisoo runs out, and Mi-jin cries sadly. Sang-hoon hurriedly comes in, finds out about the whole situation, and is frustrated. Ji-soo is lost and wandering around. But eventually, she goes back home, knowing that the reason she is where she is is because she has her mother, Mi-jin. And Ji-soo's sincere words are delivered to the drunken Mi-jin's ears.

"I love you, mom..."
"Together..Mom and I..let's love each other!"
