"Little Women"- Oh  In-joo and Choi Do-il

We all remember the hold this couple had on the audience. The irresistible chemistry and soft hints of romance made us hold our breaths, chanting softly to the screen...Kiss! But it never happened..

"Little Women"'s Oh  In-joo (Kim Go-eun) was the eldest of the Oh sisters. Their parents never took responsibility for them, in fact, only drowned them in debts.

From a young age, In-joo dreamt of being rich but working hard wasn't putting her anywhere. She even married a rich man, but he wasn't rich to begin with.

This did not suppress her dreams of swarming into luxury. Her life takes a sudden turn when her friend leaves 20 million in her gym lock and 70 billion in Singapore for her to take. She partners up with Cho Do-il (Wi Ha-jun), a professional money launder, to achieve their dreams.

To say, they were just partners in crime, but their fiery chemistry made us want to believe in them more. It was certain that Do-il had begun to care for her. He was there to stop her from being hurt and even turned himself in to free In-joo.

As much as we wanted them to confess, the two parted ways at the airport.

"Tomorrow" - Goo Ryeon and Park  Joong-gil

From lovers in the past to enemies. Goo Ryeon (Kim Hee-sun) and Joong-gil (Lee Soo-hyuk) are grim reaper from the underworld who no longer get together. In particular, Joong-gil. He holds a mysterious, intense grudge against her and has a clear stance- to push Ryeon off her position.

Initially, it was said that his stance was against her mission. He did not believe in 'saving' people on the verge of death. Soon, we dig deeper into their past, where Ryeon was a rookie under him and he greatly admired her. When she reveals her mission, he feels betrayed and turns against her.

But their history went far beyond that. They were in fact lovers, who deeply adored each other, but their story ended when Ryeon took her life. Only Ryeon seems to remember their past as humans.

Even when fighting, the intensity in their stares and conversations was enough to make you squeal. Fans just couldn't get enough of them. They were excited to see their story unfold and wished that they could reunite.

Though they got on good terms by the end of the drama, there was no romance between them anymore.

"Vincenzo" - Hong Cha-yeong and Vincenzo

Hong Cha-yeong (Jeon Yeo-been) and Vincenzo (Song Joong-ki) became the perfect example of 'calm boyfriend and hyper girlfriend ' and fans just loved it!Vincenzo was formerly a part of the Italian mafia as a conglomerate. But after his adopted father died, he had to leave. But he wasn't just running away, he had created a far better plan in Korea. He had discovered a gold mine beneath a plaza. When he arrives, he realizes that he has far more challenges than the residents. One of the massive groups in Korea, Babel Group, also wants ownership over the plaza for renovation.Hong Cha-yeong was a prideful lawyer who was ready to get her hands dirty for success, unlike her father. These characters still leave a great mark on the hearts of fans. Some wish for a season 2 where they can see the duo unite, but we are unsure if we could ever have that.
